Her dark gray shirt was tattered and shredded as if she'd been in that dark room for decades. The closer she emerged the more her deathly scent invaded their every being. The cruel, hateful, sinful smile grew even wider. Then her mouth opened again and this time, releasing a piercing scream as she charged at them with sharp rotten brown seething teeth.
"Wh-what do we do?"
"Fire," the girl said. "Fire has not limitations just the same as her. It doesn't care if it is burning wood or dead rotting flesh. We need to burn her," she whispered from across the way underneath a table draped with a white cloth.
Then, the darkness took over. There was no sound of movement or a world outside those abandoned walls. The air became cold. She drew them out from their hiding places and touched the both of them, sending a shockwave through them. It was like standing underneath an icy shower. And, like the blink of an eye, they were pulled into Zan's darkness. It was over until the next curious souls came along.
