Chasing Goals

Many of us are so busy chasing goals that we tend to forget how/when enjoy life. Monday through Friday you push so hard you hardly find time to breathe. And then comes'd think it would be a day to relax, right? No, you're still pushing to achieve those goals by a certain age that you've told yourself would be acceptable. Anything else would be a travesty. Now Sunday, yes Sunday, you finally relax---well crash!

I know how it feels to want something so badly you can taste it. You're willing to do the work, get your hands dirty. But, it won't hurt to take time off to smell the roses. Do the things that make you smile. It doesn't matter if it's big or small. 

One day while you're working, stop and look around. Are you alone? Is your family moving along without you, as if you're a ghost? You're there. But, are you really there? Your body is with them. The entire world is still moving on without you. Be present and find a balance. Life goes on. Every second counts. Never lose sight of that. 

Good luck on your journey, love yourself, and the beautiful people around you.
